Engineer Bio:
Bill received his B.S., magna cum laude, from N.Y. Inst. of Technology in 1977. He has served as Dep. Comm. of Public Works for the City of Rockford (78-79); Asst. Supt. Of Highways and County Engineer for Winnebago County (79-92); Public Works Director for Polk County, OR (92-93); Operations Manager for Holden Village, WA (94-95); and County Engineer for Dekalb County since 1995. Bill was named National Rural County Engineer of the year in 2006 by NACE.

Established on March 4, 1837, DeKalb County named after Johann DeKalb, a German baron, who served in the Colonies during the Revolution, and was mortally wounded at Camden, S.C., 1780.
