Engineer Bio:
Tom received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1988. He worked in private consulting for 14 years prior to being appointed Jersey County Engineer in 2003.

Originally part of Greene County, Jersey County was established on February 28, 1839. The County is named after the State of New Jersey, which derives its name from the Isle of Jersey, Great Britian.
